Turkey Passport Programme
Introduction
Turkey, with Ankara as its capital and Istanbul as its largest city, is a country spanning both Europe and Asia and a member of NATO, a candidate of EU, and a E2-visa signatory. To promote foreign investment, the Turkish government amended the Citizenship Act and launched the Naturalization Program for Foreigners’ Investment in May 2017.
According to Article 2 of the Citizenship Act and its amendment, Article 20, foreigners who purchase property in Turkey worth more than 1 million US Dollars will be granted Turkish residency, citizenship and passport. On September 1, 2018, the Turkish Parliament announced an amendment to the Act, reducing investment funds from 1 million US dollars to 250,000 US dollars, as long as the property is not be sold within 3 years, which made this program become one of the most affordable the most cost-effective citizen naturalization project on the market. Since June 13, 2022, the investment threshold for citizenship was raised from 250,000 US dollars to 400,000 US dollars.
Requirements
1. The main applicant must be at least 18 years old.
2. Purchase a property in Turkey worth at least 400,000 US dollar and hold it for at least 3 years.
3. No infectious diseases.
4. No criminal record.

4. Pay for the property and Prepare Required Documents
5. Complete Ownership Transfer and Receive Ownership Certificate
6. Receive Investment Confirmation Letter
7. Submit Residence Permit Application
8. Submit Citizenship Application
9. Receive Approval Letter
10. Provide Biometrics at the Turkish Embassy/Consulate in China
11. Receive the Turkish Passport and ID card
