Introduction
The French non-lucrative residence policy requires proof of sufficient funds to live in France, allowing two generations of one family to immigrate to France. This policy has been in place since 2006. After holding the French V1 VLSTS visa (V1 Visa)for five years, applicants can apply for a ten-year French long-term residence permit or citizenship. Applicants and their family members are not permitted to work in France but may start and operate a business. Once the V1 visa is obtained, applicants can access a range of French benefits, including healthcare and education.

5. Commitment not to work in France.

Application Process
