Top Talent Pass Scheme

Introduction

"Top Talent Pass Scheme"(TTPS) was officially implemented on December 28, 2022. TTPS seeks to attract top talents with rich work experience and good academic qualifications from all over the world to explore opportunities in Hong Kong. These top talents include high-income talents and graduates from the world’s top universities. The applicant is initially granted a 2-year visa (3-year visa for Category A), allowing talents to explore opportunities in Hong Kong. The applicant's spouse and unmarried children under the age of 18 are also eligible to apply for visa together with the main applicant.

Requirements

The qualified applicants may be granted 36-months Visa (Category A) / 24-months Visa (Categories B and C).

Category A: Persons with annual income of HKD 2.5 million or above, or its equivalent in foreign currency, in the year immediately preceding the date of application.

1) Personal Income: Annual income reaching HKD 2.5 million or above, or its equivalent in foreign currency

2) Corporate profit: For sole proprietors (not apply to self-employed individuals), the enterprise's profits in the previous fiscal year must be HKD 2.5 million or more (or equivalent in foreign currency); For non-sole proprietors, holding more than 50% of the enterprise's shares, the result of 【taxable income x shareholding proportion】 in the previous fiscal year must be HKD 2.5 million or more (or equivalent in foreign currency).

Category B: Degree graduates of the eligible universities with at least three years of work experience over the past five years immediately preceding the date of application.

Category C: Degree graduates of the eligible universities in the past five years immediately preceding the date of application with less than three years of work experience, subject to an annual quota which is to be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
