France V1 VLSTS
Hong Kong (Top Talent Pass Scheme)
The France V1 VLSTS policy requires applicants to demonstrate that they have sufficient funds to support themselves in France, allowing two generations of a family to immigrate to France. This policy has been in place since 2006. After holding the France V1 VLSTS visa (V1 visa) for five years, applicants may apply for a 10-year long-term residency permit or French citizenship. Applicants and their family members are not permitted to work in France but may engage in business or entrepreneurial activities. Upon obtaining the V1 visa, applicants are entitled to a range of French benefits, including healthcare and education.
On December 28, 2022, the Hong Kong government officially launched the "Top Talent Pass Scheme" aimed at attracting high-caliber talents from around the world with substantial work experience and advanced academic qualifications to develop their careers in Hong Kong. Under the scheme, successful applicants are initially granted a visa for a period of two years (three years for Category A) to explore opportunities in Hong Kong.
