Singapore EP Programme
Introduction
In 1992, Singapore first launched the EP programme (Employment Pass), aimed at attracting international professionals and management elites to work in Singapore. In 2010, the minimum salary threshold for the EP was SGD 3,000. In 2016, the threshold was raised to SGD 3,300. And in 2027, it was further increased to SGD 3,500.
On September 1, 2023, the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) implemented the "Complementarity Assessment Framework" (COMPASS).
